**Full Job Description**

We are seeking a full-time **Maintenance Technician/Houseman** to join our team. This role involves maintaining and ensuring the cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and the overall hotel property.
Driver's license required.
**Subsidized staff accommodation is available.**

Job Duties:

- Respond promptly and efficiently to all maintenance requests.
- Perform groundskeeping tasks in all weather conditions.
- Complete work orders in an efficient and timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in all work areas.
- Inspect and address any issues in public areas daily as needed.
- Conduct maintenance and repair tasks for guest rooms, public areas, and offices, including:

- Plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Furnishings, fixtures, painting, and wall repairs
- Light carpentry, door and window repairs
- General cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, spill cleanup, and laundry duties. Job Requirements:

- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push up to 100 lbs.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- Clear criminal record check.
- Ideally, 1 year of prior maintenance experience (hotel experience preferred).

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent
**Pay**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour, based on experience.
**Expected Hours**: 40 hours per week
