**Additional Information**:
The Glenn Gould School is looking for a highly experienced and qualified instructor to teach our Orchestral Repertoire class with a specialized focus on repertoire for the bassoon.

This instrument-specific course concentrates on the standard orchestral excerpts required for professional bassoon auditions. Students will prepare audition lists, receive regular coaching, and perform two preparator auditions per year. Preparatory auditions are adjudicated by experienced instrumental musicians and/or conductors.

Orchestral Repertoire meets once a week for 24 weeks of instruction per academic year. Each class is 1.5 hours in length.

**Job Requirements**:
**What We're Looking For**:

- A Doctorate, Master’s degree, or equivalent academic credential in bassoon performance.
- At least 5 years of experience teaching bassoon at the University level.
- At least 10 years of experience studying and performing the repertoire to be studied at a professional level.
- Proven track record of students winning professional orchestral positions.

**Additional Requirements**:

- The selection process may include an audition.
