Pay Range:
$70-100 per hour

Academic Year (Both Fall and Winter/Spring Terms)

Additional Information:
The Taylor Academy is seeking a pianist chamber music coach beginning in Fall 2023.
As a leading performance academy of its kind in Canada, this position is an opportunity to work with some of the finest young talents of our time.
Chamber music instructional time mainly occurs on Friday evenings from 5-9 pm.
Job Requirements:
What We're Looking For:
- Master's degree in music performance or equivalent.
- A proven track record of working successfully with gifted children where exceptional results have been obtained with these students' progress.
- Current active performer of chamber music, with expertise in a broad range of chamber ensemble repertoire and instrumentations.
- A proven track record as a successful performing artist with a strong interest and experience in performing chamber music, solo work and orchestral playing.
- A team player, interested in contributing to the community and culture of the RCM.
- Ability to recruit new Academy students is an asset.
Additional Requirements:
- The selection process may include one or more of the following: an audition, a mock teaching assignment, submission of live audio/video recordings of chamber music performance upon request.
- Applicants are not to send audio/video samples unless expressly asked. Thank you
