**What is the Opportunity?**:
The Phil & Eli Taylor Performance Academy for Young Artists seeks a Chamber Music Instructor beginning in spring 2024. As a leading performance academy of its kind in Canada, this position is an opportunity to work with some of the finest young talents of our time. Taylor Academy students participate in 26 weeks of classes and receive weekly coaching during the academic year.

**Teaching Assignment Details**:

- **Assignment**: Chamber Music Instructor (Strings)
- **School**: The Phil & Eli Taylor Performance Academy for Young Artists
- **Location**: 273 Bloor Street West, Toronto (RCM Main Building)
- **Pay Rate**: $70 - $100 per hour
- **Term**: 2023-2024 Academic Year
- **Start Date**: Spring 2024

**Job Requirements**:
**What We're Looking For**:

- A Master’s degree in music performance
- A proven track record of working successfully with gifted children
- Experience in pre-college and post-secondary teaching and guest master class clinician
- Performance experience in a premier chamber ensemble
- Successful track record as a recording artist
- Recognized as an expert on chamber music, orchestral studies, solo repertoire, and contemporary music
- Ability to recruit new Academy students is a plus
- A team player, interested in contributing to the community and culture of the RCM

**Additional Information**:

- The selection process may include an audition and/or a mock teaching assignment, and/or submission of recent live audio or video recordings of chamber music performances upon request (do not send any media files unless requested).
