As the Key Account Manager - Multi-Unit Food Service, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the food service industry across Western Canada. You will be responsible for managing accounts of multi-unit food service establishments such as cafes, restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality venues. Your primary focus will be on fostering long-term partnerships, maximizing sales opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence within the assigned territory.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at multi-unit food service establishments, including owners, managers, and purchasing teams.
- Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and needs to provide tailored solutions and offerings that align with their goals.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance, address concerns, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as marketing, operations, and logistics to ensure seamless execution of client initiatives and orders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports to management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate new business leads.

**You have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in B2B sales, account management, or business development within the food service industry, preferably with a focus on coffee or beverages.
- Strong understanding of the food service market in Western Canada, including key players, trends, and customer segments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate value propositions and negotiate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at various organizational levels.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.

**Starting Salary Range for this position is $85,000 - $97,000 dependent on experience.**
