Ontario Soccer is actively searching for a talented and ambitious Marketing, Partnerships, and Events
Coordinator, who is passionate about marketing, partnerships, event management, brand, and
Founded in 1901, Ontario Soccer is currently comprised of more than 500 Clubs servicing over 24,000
teams with 380,000 registered players, 70,000 coaches and managers, and 6,000 match officials, as
well as countless volunteers, parents and supporters encompassing a direct, multi-cultural community
of over 1,000,000 Ontarians.
Ontario Soccer develops and delivers exceptional and sustainable programs and services throughout
Ontario with the mission of providing leadership and support for the advancement of soccer in
collaboration and cooperation with our member District Associations, partners and other
stakeholders. Ontario Soccer also operates the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL); the
province’s premier standards based youth development program, as well as “Team Ontario”, Ontario
Soccer’s provincial Xcel program. Ontario Soccer proudly supports Canada Soccer’s National Teams,
the Canadian Premier League and Toronto FC.
The overall objective of Ontario Soccer as a hub for Coach, Match Official and Player Development is
to be innovators and leaders in sport and to assist with the equitable development of soccer as a
healthy lifestyle choice, provide a talented pathway for participants to excel and encourage inclusive
community involvement at all levels.
**Position Summary**:
Events.
Reporting to the Manager of Marketing, Partnerships, and Events, this role is for those with a vested
interest in events, marketing, and partnership development, and how one can raise the brand profile
of amateur sport organizations. Are you constantly scrolling to see what brands, sports organizations
or personalities are doing to engage with their audience? Does a beautifully executed marketing
campaign give you chills? Is graphic design and creative execution in your wheelhouse? Do you love
to get to know and work with corporate partners to provide them best in class servicing? Will you love
the thrill of event management, motivating you to go above and beyond to enhance the participant
experience?
Of particular focus will be the generational opportunity surrounding the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup,
and your 2+ years of marketing experience will bring immense value to the team, and support a highly
complex Ontario Soccer membership engagement campaign in the lead-up, throughout the duration,
and wrap-up of this milestone event.
As a marketing/partnerships professional, you will have a strong background in marketing, event
management, branding, and partnership servicing. As the Marketing, Partnerships, and Events
Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to develop marketing campaigns, collateral and creative
assets under Ontario Soccer’s first-class brand, assist in promoting and executing top events and
programs including the Ontario Soccer Summit, the Ontario Cup, and the Gary Miller Charity Shield,
and build relationships with our suite of partners to deliver value to them, day in and day out.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
The Coordinator of Marketing, Partnerships, and Events will support the Marketing, Partnerships, and
Events Manager in meeting the department’s operational objectives in the following areas:
**Marketing and Branding **
Brand development and marketing of Ontario Soccer primary marks and sub-brands, in
addition to ensuring a consistent brand look, feel and voice in all Ontario Soccer assets;
Ideation and creation of marketing campaigns (particularly the Road to 2026 Campaign) that
support the various program areas and strategic direction of Ontario Soccer;
Monitoring of brand protection across entire membership spectrum;
General support as an “in-house agency marketer”;
Survey design and analysis for marketing, event, and partnership evaluations.***
**Partnership Servicing and Procurement **
Manage and strengthen relationships with existing partners, including:
- Management of activation programs, including onsite activations;
- Day-to-day management of all partner requests and programs.
Assist in developing pitch decks and proposals for new partners;
