Reports To: Manager, Marketing, Partnerships, and Events

Background:
Founded in 1901, Ontario Soccer is currently comprised of more than 500 Clubs servicing over 24,000 teams with 380,000 registered players, 70,000 coaches and managers, and 6,000 match officials, as well as countless volunteers, parents and supporters encompassing a direct, multi-cultural community of over 1,000,000 Ontarians.

Ontario Soccer develops and delivers exceptional and sustainable programs and services throughout Ontario with the mission of providing leadership and support for the advancement of soccer in collaboration and cooperation with our member District Associations and Clubs, partners and other stakeholders. Ontario Soccer owns and operates the Zanchin Automotive Soccer Centre in Vaughan, Ontario as well operating the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL); the province’s premier standards-based youth development program, as well as “Team Ontario”, Ontario Soccer’s Provincial Xcel program. Ontario Soccer proudly supports Canada Soccer’s National Teams, the Canadian Premier League, Toronto FC and the new Northern Super League.

As a marketing/partnerships professional, you will have a demonstrated background in marketing, event management, branding, and partnership servicing. As the Marketing, Partnerships, and Events Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to develop marketing campaigns, collateral and creative assets under Ontario Soccer’s first-class brand, assist in promoting and executing top events and programs and build relationships with our suite of partners to deliver value to them, day in and day out.

Of primary focus will be the generational opportunity surrounding the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup, where Ontario Soccer will take advantage of the high profile event to promote and engage Ontarians around the “beautiful game”. Your 2+ years of marketing experience will bring immense value to the team. Your Club or previous sport organization experience will be invaluable as you support a highly complex Ontario Soccer membership engagement campaign in the lead-up, throughout the duration, and wrap-up of this milestone event.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Coordinator of Marketing, Partnerships, and Events will support the Marketing, Partnerships, and Events Manager in meeting the department’s operational objectives in the following areas:
Marketing and Branding
- Ideation and creation of marketing 2026 campaign;
- Brand development and marketing of Ontario Soccer primary marks and sub-brands, in addition to ensuring a consistent brand look, feel and voice in all Ontario Soccer assets;
- Monitoring of brand protection across entire membership spectrum;
- General support as an “in-house agency marketer”;
- Survey design and analysis for marketing, event, and partnership evaluations.

Partnership Servicing and Procurement
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing partners, including:

- Management of activation programs, including onsite activations;
- Day-to-day management of all partner requests and programs.
- Detailed tracking and reporting of Ontario Soccer - partner relationship and activations;
- General duties related to partnership sales and business development support;
- Oversee key partner and supplier accounts, including equipment/supply orders and VIK.

Event Management
- Promotion and communication of Events;
- Support the planning efforts of the 2026 marketing campaign vis-à-vis the annual Ontario Soccer events (Ontario Soccer Summit. Centre Circle Awards, etc.);
- Manage and execute event day operations;
- Support relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Evening and weekend on-site support at events, as needed.

Education and Professional Designations:

- University degree or College diploma, preferably in the field of Sport Management, Marketing and/or Business Administration.

Skills and Competencies
- At least two years of working experience within a marketing, events, and sports environment
- Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of marketing, events, promotions, branding, and/or partnership sales/se
