**Responsibilities**:

- Retain and augment existing business by maintaining excellent partner relations
- Conduct regular in-person and virtual visits with partners to introduce new insurance products, outlining features and benefits of products, including promotion of **guard.meCARES** services
- Maintain database (CRM/**guard.me** Information system) with up-to-date partner contact information
- Log all meetings/appts. with partners in shared team calendar (orientations, on/off-site meetings, training, etc.)
- Prepare, customize, and deliver presentations and orientations to partners and their students as requested
- Continuously monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and promote the continuous feedback of strategic information to the team, other Managers, and the Executive Team
- Keep abreast of industry trends and strive to position **guard.me** as the undisputed thought leader in the international student insurance, travel insurance, and health and wellness space
- Identify sponsorship opportunities and speaking opportunities that will enhance **guard.me’s** reputation and position it as a trusted and credible member of Canada’s education communities
- Support the timely collection of receivable premiums as required, especially those that are difficult or very overdue (>90 days)
- Provide timely and accurate reporting as required
- Attend and actively participate in regular team meetings as required
- Represent **guard.me** by attending and participating in networking and educational events, industry tradeshows, and conferences
- Maintain a thorough understanding of privacy regulations and protocols for partners/policyholders including annual training from guard.me and partners as requested
- Maintain accurate and authoritative product knowledge on the **guard.meCARE’s** suite of products and services, including **Wellness and Learning Initiatives**, **keep.meSAFE**, and the **travel assistance** services for outbound travel insurance policies
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote continuous improvement, process optimization, and organizational learning
- Obtain within 6 months of employment, (if not already possessed) and ensure A&S licensing is active and maintained, including all mandated professional development obligations
- Travel throughout Canada, and potential for occasional international travel
- Read, acknowledge, and comply with all policies and procedures of the organization
- Attend privacy and security training during your onboarding process as well as annually thereafter
- If you become aware of an incident or potential incident that may result in the unauthorized access, use, copying, alteration, or disclosure of personal information that may be in the possession or control of guard.me, immediately notify guard.me's Privacy Office
- Agree to work together with the Privacy Office to gather required information relevant to any privacy incident, implement any corrective actions as directed by the Privacy Office, and submit privacy incident reports to the Privacy Office, as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as **guard.me** shall reasonably require

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Account Management, a completed College or Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of skills and experience
- Possessing active LLPQ license specific to Accident & Sickness is ideal and will be required if not already possessed
- Previous experience working in international education, with a professional network of contacts in the following educational sectors: K-12, post-secondary, and/or private language schools
- A proven track record of successful business relationship management that demonstrates a capacity for creativity, innovation, and a willingness to address customer needs
- Strong networking, communication, and presentation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with people from all levels of an organization
- Proven ability to adapt to new situations while projecting a comfortable and professional demeanor
- Active listening skills with the ability to think-on-your feet, negotiate, and problem solve in dynamic situations
- Proven attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, with the ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task
- Commitment to confidentiality and preserving and protecting the client’s privacy at all times
- Ability to communicate in a second language is an asset
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Teams/Word/Excel/Outlook), Adobe Reader, Internet Search Engines (Google Chrome, Mozilla, IE)
- Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends, based on **guard.me** and client needs
- Must reside or willing to relocate to Atlantic, Canada
- Must have a valid Driver’s Licence with a clean abstract and a reliable vehicle for travel
