Job Title: Oncology Account Specialist

The Oncology Account Specialist plays a critical role in establishing Kyowa Kirin as a leader in oncology and rare diseases by demonstrating our commitment to supporting healthcare providers in improving patient health outcomes. This includes driving effective hospital system and account planning, management, and selling processes, identifying key stakeholders, and building strong relationships along the patient's journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of oncology and dermatology centers in assigned regions, identifying and mapping key stakeholders and patient flows.
  • Conduct day-to-day interactions with healthcare professionals, conveying complex information in a professional, compliant, and effective manner.
  • Analyze factors such as patient flow and reimbursement landscapes to develop business plans and execute sales calls.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to develop and implement actionable business plans that drive sales volume within cancer care boards and centers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in science or business required; MBA, Pharmacy/Medical Degree preferred.
  • 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a minimum of 3 years of account management experience; 3 years' experience within institutional, oncology, or rare disease sales.
  • Proven track record of sales success, with the ability to discuss therapeutic strategies and maintain therapeutic area/product knowledge.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Veeva.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, initiative, and ambition to succeed.
