**THE ROLE**
Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs. Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for the planning, organizing and delivering of community recreation activities. Acts as a point of contact for internal and external customers. Receives and issues receipts for registration fees and schedules and confirms appointments and meetings related to recreation activities. Prepares and maintains reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists, and databases. Sets up and maintains manual and computerized information filing systems and maintains an update membership database. Receives and forwards community recreation promotional material to appropriate people for newspaper and television publication.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

High School diploma AND several years experience in administration or related field

**Experience**
- In office administration
- In basic accounting
- In preparing sales reports
- In drafting and distributing correspondence

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
English Essential / Bilingual an asset

Reading: Advanced

Writing: Functional

Oral: Advanced
