Job Description: Temporary Administration / Accounts Receivable Specialist (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Process and reconcile incoming customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Generate and send customer invoices, ensuring compliance with established billing procedures.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports, following up on overdue payments and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries related to invoices and payments.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update relevant databases.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including accounts receivable aging summaries and cash flow projections.
- Provide administrative support to various departments, including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Assist in maintaining vendor relationships and processing vendor invoices as needed.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial information.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- 2 years minimum experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or financial administration.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.
- Previous experience with ERP systems or accounting software is a plus.

Duration:
This is a temporary role to cover a maternity leave period, with an estimated duration of 12 months. There is potential for the role to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
