We are currently searching for an experienced, passionate and highly motivated Account Manager who can help our team expand Barrelling Tide Distillery's presence, primarily within Nova Scotia, and help take our business to the next level.

**Job Summary**

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the sales and representation of our products portfolio throughout Nova Scotia, which includes key accounts. You will work closely with our Director of Sales to support and develop strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets and company growth objectives. You will be asked to work throughout Nova Scotia to engage with consumers and potential clients and grow our brand while also growing our network of relationships across the province.

**Among others, your responsibilities will include**:

- Learning and maintaining product knowledge
- Prospecting for new customers by networking, targeted cold calling, on-site customer meetings, executing lead packs and working within the Barrelling Tide sales system to generate new customers.
- Travelling to various parts of the province to meet with potential clients.
- Delivering product to various clients across the province
- Maintaining relationships with existing accounts and servicing on a regular basis
- Achieving sales targets and objectives
- Compiling and maintaining industry knowledge
- Resolving customer service issues to ensure the satisfaction of our clients and consumers
- Maintaining a detailed CRM system
- Being a brand ambassador and participating in industry events, tasting, festivals and activities such as customer promotions, trade associations, etc.
- Complete NSLC in-store tastings for staff
- Submitting daily and weekly activity reports to the Director of Sales
- Participating in regular meetings with the sales team and ownership
- Performing other duties as required

**Position Requirements**
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience within the food and beverage industry (preferred)
- Annapolis Valley based (preferred but not mandatory)
- 19 years of age or older (mandatory)
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Post-secondary education (preferred)
- Exceptional networking and relationship management skills
- Excellent sales tactics and closing tactics
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as listening skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Adaptable to various CRM platforms
- Well organized, self-directed, outgoing and positive
- Flexible schedule with weekend availability as required
- A valid class 5 drivers license, clean driving record, and use of their own vehicle (mandatory)
- Bilingual - English and French (asset)
