**Position Summary and Responsibilities**
Reporting to the Supervisor of Revenue, the Town of Aurora is looking for a General Office Clerk supporting the Financial Reporting & Revenue division. The incumbent will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support for revenue staff that administer water and property tax billing, including but not limited to telephone answering, creating, and maintaining files and records, working with Oracle software for water and property tax accounts, and other general office administration functions as required.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum one (1) year of experience performing general administrative duties, preferably in a financial public sector environment.
- Experience with water and/or property tax billing is considered an asset.
- Ability to prioritize work and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and deal effectively and courteously with the public and staff.
Successful applicants to this position will be required to provide a **Police Criminal Record Check** that is satisfactory to the Town prior to their start date at the applicants’ own cost.
