**VOLUNTEER - Wayfinder**

**JOB SUMMARY**:
To meet and greet Residents and their friends/families/visitors and to orient them to the facility by providing support and general information regarding the CapitalCare.
**POSITION BENEFITS & REQUIREMENTS**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Welcome, inform and direct clients and visitors
- Determine the information likely to be requested
- Provide general information about organizations and the Site
- Provide wheelchair support, respond to requests for wheelchair assistance
- Take responsible care for their own H&S and that of clients and visitors
- Report any risks or concerns to the Receptionist
- Conduct facility tours
- Complete COVID-19 screening questions with all individuals entering the building.
- Ensuring all individuals entering the clinics are wearing masks or handing out masks as necessary.
- Ensuring all individuals use hand sanitizer prior to entering site

**TRAINING**:
Attend Volunteer Orientation.
Specific training will be provided by Coordinator of Volunteer Services
Other training and in-services may be available.
**COMPETENCIES**:
- Have an interest in serving people.
- Accept direction and supervision.
- Be dependable and committed.
- Be friendly and trustworthy.
- Able to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
- Be mature and motivated.
**SCREENING**:
- Have a clear Police Information Check.
- Complete a TB screening questionnaire.
