Toronto, Canada Comprehensive Treatment Clinic Full time

Comprehensive Treatment Clinic (CTC) is a multidisciplinary clinic providing a new kind of Addictions treatment, walk in primary care and minor cosmetic skin surgery services.

We offer an interdisciplinary approach to treatment for addiction. We examine the various aspects of addiction, offering services which address all of its complexities. This includes various forms of physical and psychological therapy, counselling services, and medication treatment (methadone or suboxone). We also offer art therapy and outreach/systems navigation services.

**Days required**: Tuesday 9am-1pm, Wednesday 3pm-7pm, Friday 2:30pm-5:30pm with opportunities for more hours as needed to cover other admin & as we grow

**Duties include**:

- Greeting clients and assisting with a supportive, empathetic and friendly demeanor
- Screening all visitors for COVID-19 symptoms
- Managing the waiting area (including flow of patients in/out of clinic, restless clients, and ensuring compliance with COVID-19 protocols and acceptable clinic behaviour policy)
- Performing urine drug screening for patients
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments for Health Care Providers
- Interfacing with patient records through the electronic charting system
- Representing the clinic and liaising with other medical clinics, pharmacies and community organizations wherever necessary
- Distributing new safer drug use supplies to clients (needles, glass pipes, naloxone overdose treatment kits, etc..)
- Regular clean-up of the clinic, including frequent wiping down of high-touch surfaces
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Empathy and good boundary-setting
- Ability to stay calm yet be firm under pressure from challenging clients
- Dynamic interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work with diverse populations
- An interest in working with people who are living with addiction
- Understanding and respect for patient confidentiality
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

**Qualifications**:

- Prior administration experience, medical office experience required

**Valued Assets**:

- Experience, training or courses specific to mental health or addictions
- Flexibility for additional hours when needed
- First aid, CPR or overdose prevention training/courses
- Phlebotomy and Intermuscular injections training & experience

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
