**Regional Manager**
- **Reports to**:_ Owner/Management Company
The Regional Manager position is responsible for overseeing multiple residences within Western Ontario.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Holds a postgraduate degree in Business Management and/or RPN/RN certification (RPN/RN certification is preferred)
- Previous managerial experience in a retirement home or long-term care home setting is an asset
- Demonstrates understanding of/empathy for the needs of seniors
- Ability to relate to all levels of staff, the residents and their families with a high degree of patience, tolerance and confidentiality
- Initiative, good judgment and leadership abilities, supervisory capabilities
- Good communication skills; both oral and written. Good public relation skills
- Be knowledgeable of job responsibilities and descriptions of all staff
- Working knowledge of the following legislation:
- Retirement Homes Act
- Residential Tenancies Act
- Employment Standards Act
- Labour Relations Act
- Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Workers’ Compensation Act
- Coroner's Act
- Regulated Health Professions Act
- Familiar with ORCA Standards
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Administering, coordinating and directing managerial staff of multiple residences within Western Ontario
- Ensure the provision of high-quality care for residents and resident satisfaction
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial, personnel and resident data
- Be knowledgeable of and have the ability to lead the residences in practicing fire and safety programs
- Refer and adhere to all policies and procedures as they are in effect
- Manage multiple residences in accordance with legislative requirements, including ensuring and maintaining each residence is in compliance with the RHRA
- Provide leadership and motivation to the staff for the achievement of the residence's objectives
- Ensure residences are maintaining accurate records of residents, personnel, and the operations in order to provide regular reports to the Owner/Management Company on the activities, needs and problems of the residence
- Undertake all other responsibilities delegated by the Owner/Management Company

TBD depending on level of experience.

This position will be based out of the Head Office located in Mississauga, ON, but will require travel throughout Western Ontario to the residences that you are overseeing.
- **Schedule**_
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ontario: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 50% (required)
