Niagara College Toronto is a public college-private partnership between Niagara College Canada (NC) and TSoM, with academic delivery and student support services managed by TSoM.

The Scheduling Assistant will be responsible for overseeing all phases of academic course schedules for Niagara College Toronto and provide a high level of commitment to excellence and integrity in serving all key stakeholders.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Update academic schedule and share with the department.
- Notify students and faculty if there are changes in assigned classrooms for any reason.
- Manage the rooms and accommodate requests as needed and notify the respective team leads.
- Keep track of changes in the schedule and notify the students and faculty.
- Keep track of schedule change requests from faculty.
- Prepare the biweekly audit reports of faculty teaching hours.
- Update the master faculty sheet with the new hire information.
- Assist Academic Support and Scheduling Manager with cohort planning and schedule drafts.
- Review the enrolments daily during the registration period and keep track of the capacity.
- Add courses to Faculty in CANVAS
- Assist with updating the CANVAS course links on the schedule file.
- Assist Faculty with any scheduling related queries.
- Review the schedules on SYS and ensure they are accurate.
- During the registration period monitor the capacity of cohorts on a regular basis and provide updates.
- Assist the enrolment team with opening seats and adjusting the capacity on SYS.
- Review SYS and ensure the course intakes and modules are accurate.
- Support in planning for midterm & final exams

**Position Requirements**:

- Advance knowledge of MS Office Suite
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- 2 -3 years’ prior experience working in public college/university.
- Excellent customer service, verbal/written communication skills, organization and conflict resolution abilities a necessity.
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
