The Sales Consultant at Alpha Building Supply plays a crucial role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in the building materials industry. This position involves engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering appropriate building material solutions. The primary objective is to achieve sales targets while establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
**Job Summary**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Understand customer needs, requirements, and budgets to offer tailored building material solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of building materials and resolve any customer issues.
- Develop a deep understanding of the building material product range, including construction materials, supplies, and related services.
- Stay updated on industry developments, new products, and emerging trends.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive product information to customers, addressing their technical queries effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and resolve customer issues.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product range and stay informed about industry developments.
- Prepare accurate sales quotations, proposals, and contracts.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities using CRM software.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and industry regulations.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
