**Experiential Learning Coordinator**:
**Primary Purpose**: The primary goal of the position is to cultivate and coordinate experiential learning opportunities for our students among our faculty and the legal community.

**Nature of Work**: Reporting operationally to the Director of Administration and working closely with the Dean and the Leadership Team of the College, will identify and coordinate experiential learning opportunities for our students. The incumbent will establish and maintain professional relationships with various constituents such as students, faculty, staff, and the external community, both provincially, nationally and internationally. The position requires the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while balancing competing deadlines and multiple tasks. Some travel is required, and it is expected that some irregular hours will be required to carry out specific assignments.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- ** **Develop and implement a strategic plan for experiential learning initiatives for students provincially, nationally and internationally.
- Cultivate partnerships with the legal community, provincially, nationally, and internationally, to develop various experiential learning opportunities for students.
- Develop and maintain agreements between placement sites and the college.
- Coordinate experiential learning opportunities for students including problem solving issues as they arise.
- Create summary reports from students, faculty, and experiential partners for feedback to improve future placement programs.
- Research and analyze statistical information as it relates to experiential learning including trends and new initiatives across the country;
- Other initiatives as assigned/required.

**Education**:A degree and a Law degree is preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

**Experience**: At least five (5) years of experience coordinating experiential learning within an educational environment. Previous supervision and evaluation of students and/or formal teaching experience is considered an asset.

**Salary**: The salary range, based on 1.0 FTE, is $64,107.00 - 100,169.00 per annum. The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
