**Team Lead Westmount PSH Program**

The Team Lead, under the direction of the Senior Manager, will assist in the day-to-day operations, service delivery, programming, and staff and caseload management. They will be the first contact for the Case Managers and Front-Line staff and provide in community supports as needed.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- The Team Lead will work collaboratively with the Senior Manager to ensure adherence to Accreditation standards, Funder Contractual Obligations and Standards, and GSS Organizational and Program policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Provide strong leadership to sustain a safe and respectful work environment by using effective communication, team building, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to support staff and promote quality service delivery and positive team dynamics.
- The Team Lead will work with the Senior Manager on the implementation and ongoing review of service models, care pathways, policies and procedures to ensure quality improvement for the participants success.
- The Team Lead will be responsible for data entry, reporting and tracking ETO on our contractual obligations.
- Ensure clients’ files and records contain complete, accurate, care plans, assessments, and up-to-date information on clients’ needs.
- In conjunction with the Senior Manager, they will have a role in Quality Improvement, staff recruiting, and training for new staff.
- Attend Homeward Trust and GSS team lead meetings and/or working groups, case conferencing, and external partner meetings.
- Administrative duties as needed and other duties assigned.

**Position Requirements**
- An open, accepting and non-judgmental attitude with an ability to build rapport with clients and staff
- Experience working with people with complex life circumstances associated with substance-related disorders, mental health issues, mobility issues and homelessness
- Basic understanding of recovery, client-centered care, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction principles based on dignity, hope and healing as individuals move forward towards improved health and well-being
- Demonstrates understanding of the addictions field
- Knowledge of referrals resources and health services available for vulnerable populations
- Understanding of inner
- city issues
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Will be familiar with recommendations from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) as well as Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW).
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check
- Valid Alberta Driver’s License
- A personal vehicle with $2 million liability insurance and the ability to transport clients as deemed necessary.
- Valid First Aid, CPR, AED certification

**Hours of work**: Monday to Friday. 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. On call one weekend every 4 weeks.
