**This full-time apprentice position is ideal for someone with a natural artistic background and even better, an education in colour theory and mixed media. A keen eye for colour, insatiable curiosity, cleverness and a joy for “the process” is a must.**

At Kitra we specialize in the exotic and rarefied when it comes to architectural coatings and substrates. We have a wonderful and supportive team at our workshop and in the field, and we are growing. **Some of the things you would be learning and working on**:

- **Custom staining of fine woodwork**:

- **Creating custom colours, paints, stains, glazes etc.**:

- **Faux finishing, wood grain painting**:

- **Architectural millwork re-colouring**:

- **Spray staining**:

- **Metal oxidizing and effect creation**:

- ** and much more**

**Requirements**:

- **Able to comfortably juggle multiple tasks/projects**:

- **Able to lift 20+ pounds**:

- **Comfortability with heights, off ladders and/or scaffolding**:

- **A vehicle owner and willing to use it for this position for onsite projects**
