**Position Description**:

This position supports the services of the Imaging Library for the department of Diagnostic Imaging. The maintenance, tracking, retrieval and delivery of master files are handled in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Generation of hard/soft copy images is also required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Grade 12 diploma, plus 2 years post-secondary diploma in office administration-health services
- Two years experience providing clerical support in a healthcare environment, with knowledge of file management procedures and radiological terminology and procedures
- Basic skill level is required for MS Excel, MS Word and typing speed
- Intermediate skill level is required for spelling, medical spelling and medical terminology
- Clerical testing may be required as part of the selection process.
- Previous experience in Diagnostic Imaging preferred
- Experience working with hospital patient processing systems, i.e. EPIC, PACS, OBSP, DI-r, Powerscribe
- Technical aptitude in use of web browsers, CD/DVD burners, internet searches, etc.
- Maintains confidentiality in accordance with hospital policy at all times
- Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully, both in person and by telephone
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks while providing excellent customer service
- Previous experience in radiology department preferred
- Good work performance and attendance record is essential
**WAGE RATE**
Hourly: $26.57... $27.71... $28.85 (plus 14% in lieu of benefits)
