Status: Full-Time Contract Position for 3-5 months

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

**KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Building and maintaining of all our brand product templates, including creating construction documents for new products as needed
- Keeping the design team informed of status of new product templates and being proactive with getting information from Product Development and effectively communicating with the team
- Reviewing artwork specifications for design collections, ensuring all product information and technical details are accurate
- Uploading all artwork specifications to our PLM system and communicating with Product Development when artwork is ready to go to suppliers or information has changed
- Participating in team meetings such as Trend Research and Seasonal Retrospectives
- Photographing and sending/uploading of sample photos for review with remote employees as necessary as well as assisting in-house design team with sample revisions as required
- Minor design work, including revisions and updates to designer’s collections
- Assisting team as needed with administrative tasks, including preparing visual support materials & documents for seasonal meetings and presentations

**THE EXPERIENCE OF A STRONG CANDIDATE**
- Related industry work experience or relevant training. Textile or fashion background preferred
- Completion of post-secondary education in Design or Product Development with a related diploma, degree, or certificate
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Mac Platforms
- Must be willing to work in-office as the position will deal with physical product samples
- Experience working with a team of creatives
- Understanding of têxtile and hard goods production processes is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and related platforms)
- Observant and dependable
- Detail oriented, organized, and a flexible self-starter
- Strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize, operate proactively and work well independently and with a team
