Playground is expanding and is currently seeking enthusiastic **_Surveillance Supervisors_** to join our dynamic surveillance team.

Reporting to the **_Surveillance Manager_**, the Surveillance Supervisors conduct vigilant observation of Playground personnel and guests. The Surveillance Supervisors work to ensure the protection of all assets along with the integrity of gaming and business operations. The Surveillance Supervisor will ensure all policies/ procedures, gaming regulations, along with the health and safety of all personnel and visitors to Playground are maintained and monitored.

The position demands acute attention to detail and a demonstrated understanding of surveillance operations. The Surveillance Supervisors will display strong leadership, teamwork, communication skills, and take direction from superiors.

**Schedule**: _Different shifts depending on business needs (afternoons, evenings, overnights, FT and PT roles available)._

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for carefully monitoring our video surveillance system and detecting potential liability issues, illegal activity, and assisting in maintaining the overall safety of customers and staff
- Monitor the operations of and activities on the property including, but not limited to the performance and state of the surveillance equipment, all alert systems (i.e. fire alarm systems, burglary alarm systems and others as directed; the performance and behavior of Playground employees and the actions of Playground guests (particularly the actions with the potential to threaten the assets and operation of the organization), and the presence and activities of regulatory authorities, law enforcement and emergency services personnel
- Proactively observes and reviews video to complete required documentation of specific incidents including, but not limited to, customer complaints, procedural errors, risk management issues, player evaluations, thefts and discrepancies
- Responsible for monitoring real-time security footage in a large and dynamic environment
- Responsible for monitoring table games, slot machines and all critical areas of the gaming floor.
- Monitor compliance with security protocols regarding masks and social distance
- Maintain and improve knowledge of game rules, company policies, procedures and threats in all areas for which surveillance is responsible
- Review previously recorded surveillance footage as appropriate
- Complete daily shift logs, investigation status notes and incident reports as directed
- Preserve video coverage/evidence of significant events as directed
- Restrict access to the surveillance room and surveillance-related information and materials to those with designated access
- Supervise all shift activities
- Train new employees as well as coach current employees regarding the implementation of new policies and procedures
- Work closely with various departments to effectively relay information to resolve any issues with customers or staff
- Conduct investigations of lost or stolen items while maintaining perimeter and interior surveillance with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality
- Formulate detailed reports and generate daily log entries on all observations and investigations
- Be responsible for the accuracy and thoroughness of investigations and reports submitted
- Clearly communicate with floor security officers in the event of suspicious activity, failure to follow protocols or procedures

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years of team supervisory experience (supervisory experience in surveillance or other loss prevention environments considered an asset)
- Technology expertise, including experience with video and computer systems, is essential
- Acute attention to detail and superior observation skills to conduct examinations, write and complete reports and records that could be used as evidence in legal cases resulting in criminal charges against guest, vendors or employees
- Ability to remain impartial and keep all observed actions and behaviors confidential
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Able to sit for extended periods of time in close proximity to co-workers
- Strong ability to remain focused and alert, for extended periods of time, while sitting in front of multiple cameras
- Must possess an advanced level of grammar, spelling, proper use of punctuation and basic math skills
- Be able to analyze information and use logic to solve job related problems.
- Possess excellent telephone and radio etiquette
- Advanced communication and organizational skills are required
