E D Industrial has been operating since 2003. We are a multi-skilled company located in the Greater Toronto Area. The services we offer include millwrighting, manufacturing equipment installations and refurbishing existing production equipment, steel fabrication, pipe fitting, concrete work forming and demolition, maintenance and repair, CAD design and layout, plant relocation, civil construction, and project evaluation. We provide our customers with professional tradespeople who take pride in the quality of every job they do.

Our business relationships are built on a one-on-one approach that has resulted in years of continued personal service to our clients. We have worked in a variety of industries including building products, food and beverage, metal refineries, recycling, aggregates, concrete, and bulk material handling.

All of our employees are dedicated tradespeople that include millwrights, CWB & TSSA certified welders, machinists, pipefitters, CAD designers, and engineers. Safety is the number one priority for our company and we belong to the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA). All our tradespeople are fully certified in areas such as WHIMS, forklifts, man lifts, aerials, hot work practices, lockout procedures, etc.

**Summary Description**:
**Responsibilities/Accountabilities**
- Daily reports to Field Service Manager and Account Managers
- Maintain a detailed supervisor logbook daily
- Delegate tasks to the crew and ensure they understand the task and how to perform the task
- Review and approve all time entries for the crew in the payroll system
- Ensure proper job numbers, PO#’s and/or WO#’s are correct
- Weekly approvals of timesheets from EDI office
- Provide onsite orientation to new crew members
- Implement, support and enforce the safety program at the crew level
- Conduct daily toolbox talks
- Conduct weekly safety talks
- Inspect and perform daily pre-ops of equipment, tools and safety equipment
- Review hazard safety analyses for each job with the crew
- Assist in accident investigation
- Ensure housekeeping is maintained on job sites daily
- Review MSDS with the crew before a job where required
- Review monthly safety meeting minutes with the crew
- Must be adaptable and resourceful and show initiative, dependability, and innovation
- Able to work in a positive team environment, where every member of the team acts and feels part of a cohesive unit
- Ensure that all duties and tasks are carried out in a safe, professional and efficient manner
- Must be willing to work shifts and perform other duties/tasks that are of a reasonable request by Management

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Basic knowledge of machining and welding
- A high degree of mechanical aptitude and complete understanding of mechanical and electrical procedures
- Knowledge of machine rigging procedures
- Ability to read drawings, blueprints, specifications, and manuals
- Good communicator in the English language, both written and oral

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate of Qualification (433A)
- Supervisor training
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position and completing a credited apprenticeship program.
- High level of time management

**Physical Requirements / Working Conditions**
- Field environment (plant and shops)
- May be exposed to noise, heat, cold conditions
- May be required to lift 50-75 lbs. (with or without assistance)
- May be required to climb 4-12 ft. ladder and work at heights
- Daily stair climbing in a plant environment
- Kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling required (mechanical repair)
