Nursery Supervisor

SUMMARY

All Nations Church is located in Sudbury, Ontario. It is a thriving church and has continuously served God and our community for over sixty-five years. We are currently looking for a Nursery Supervisor to work on Sunday mornings from 8:30-12pm.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Nursery Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership to the Pebbles Nursery (Newborn-PreK) ministry on Sunday mornings. This will include running the Sunday morning program with the provided curriculum, scheduling and organizing volunteers, participating in volunteer trainings/appreciations, providing resources and guidance to parents in accordance with All Nations Church beliefs, keeping the Nursery clean and stocked, sanitizing and cleaning the Nursery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Report to the children’s ministry director; Oversee the Pebbles Nursery; Lead activities/crafts and teach curriculum; Clean and sanitize toys after Sunday morning services; Set-up and prepare the Nursery before volunteers arrive; Provide oversight to volunteers in the Nursery; Schedule Sunday morning volunteers on Planning Centre; Communicate weekly with the Children’s Ministry Director about attendance, how curriculum is working, and ministry needs; Keep track of nursery supplies and request more as needed; Support staff, elders and volunteers with related Pebbles Nursery matters as required; and Perform other duties as determined by the children’s ministry director and/or the senior pastor.
