As a swimming instructor, you are the main impression our clients will have with our company. You will provide personalized swim instruction to a variety of different ages and swimming abilities in their backyard pool or one of our Splash pools. After every lesson, you will keep detailed notes about the progress of each swimmer, and provide clear feedback to the swimmer's parents if necessary. You will answer client questions or problem solve concerns and report them to your regional team lead for further follow-up.

**What will you be doing?**
- Deliver safe and high-quality swimming lessons to our clients
- Minimize safety concerns by eliminating hazards and setting clear rules and expectations
- Arrive at each lesson prepared and on time
- Complete swimmer skills tracking, report cards, and test sheets on time and with care
- Provide clear feedback during and after lessons to parents and swimmers
- Maintain the provided equipment and incorporates it into each lesson
- Assess and report weather conditions that could provide a safety risk for you or the swimmer
- Assist with promoting the Splash brand at local events

**Qualifications**

All certificates and qualifications must be current or acquired 10 days before your first day of work.
- Red Cross Water Safety Instructor or Lifesaving Society Instructor
- National Lifeguard and Standard First Aid
- G2 or G class license
- Previous instructor experience is a bonus

- Have an enthusiastic attitude when working with children

We are unable to provide sponsorship for applicants who live outside of Canada.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Milton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- instructing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- National Lifeguard certificate (preferred)
- Class G Licence (preferred)
