Due to our continued success, we are seeking **Project Procurement Expeditor** to join our team in Waterloo, ON.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials from vendors to internal customers according to production schedule requirements
- Ongoing review of production schedules and vendor acknowledgement to ensure deliveries will arrive by required schedule date
- Proactively oversee status of orders to ensure that materials are shipped on specified ship dates and notify project management team if a critical delivery is going to be late
- Arrange for alternative sources if critical materials are required and negotiate with suppliers to arrive at “best fit” solutions
- Liaise between suppliers, purchasing, engineering, project managers, service coordinator and production leads to ensure an accurate and timely flow of information
- Work with vendors to solve invoicing issues that could delay critical shipments
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation in accordance with established practices
- Other duties as assigned

- Strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, experience with an ERP system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
- Knowledge of SQL would be an asset

**Level of Autonomy and Authority**
- Work is assigned with broad objectives to be accomplished
- Prioritizing of workload is typically self-directed
- Difficult, complex or unusual situations are occasionally referred to higher authority
- May be assigned to assist departmental co-workers

**Key Requirements**
Post-Secondary education within a program focusing on Materials Management or Business Administration and/or related work experience with a demonstrated ability to fulfill the requirements
**This position is in the office and is not available to be done remotely.
