We are seeking a dedicated **Psychology Assistant** to join our team. The position is intended to assist the psychologists with psychological assessments. You can expect to work eight to sixteen hours per week, with the potential to work some hours from home. Compensation will be determined based on experience.
**Required Qualifications**:
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
Coursework in psychopathology, statistics, psychological testing and counselling. Equivalent training or experience will be considered.
Strong computer skills and data collection skills.
Strong skills in verbal and written communication.
Strong skills in time and organizational management.
Competence in interview skills.
Ability to work independently.
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Completed training courses in testing, assessment, and psychometrics.
Practicum and/or work experience in psychological testing.
Experience working as part of collaborative teams.
**Duties**:
- Assist in conducting psychological assessments and evaluations
- Administers standardized intellectual, academic, and personality tests; risk assessment instruments; and self-report measures
- Digitize tests
- Complete accurate and timely psychological testing for interpretation by the assessing psychologist before the required date
- Record behavioural observations of the client’s response to the testing situation, including factors that might affect the validity of the testing
- Maintains records according to legislation and the practice's policies
- Score test and report test results
- Edit reports and documents
- Collect and analyze data related to client progress and treatment outcomes
- Other related duties as directed by the psychologist
