Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store located inside of the Oshawa Centre. The Store Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
**Duties**:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve store targets
- Train, supervise, and motivate store staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Create and maintain a positive working environment for all team members
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock is available at all times
- Oversee visual merchandising and ensure the store is clean and well-presented
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register transactions
- Collaborate with the management team to develop marketing initiatives and promotions
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitors
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a retail management role is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Proficient in budgeting, inventory management, and financial analysis
- Ability to develop and implement training programs for staff development
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
