**What you’ll do**
- Are you looking build your career in a fast-paced fundraising environment? We are looking for a Donor Relations Assistant to join our incredible team. In this role, you will become the team’s administrative expert playing a pivotal role in supporting and contributing to our efforts in providing exceptional donor engagement, cultivation, stewardship and recognition activities, initiatives and events.
- Guided by a strong donor-centered focus, you will work collaboratively with the Donor Relations team and colleagues across the Foundation to support donor communication and engagement initiatives. This includes assisting with the creation of donor recognition plaques, videos, communications, budgets, invoices, timekeeping, scheduling meetings and tours and more.
- More specifically you will:

- Maintain and update the Department budget - including preparing expense reports, working with our Finance team on invoices.
- Schedule meetings for the team and assisting with donor tour requests with the Hospital.
- Assist with a variety of donor engagement activities such as editing short videos, coordinating donor photo shoots and seasonal touchpoints.
- Support the team with donor naming and recognition initiatives such as donor recognition walls, assisting with the creation of donor recognition plaques and storyboards.
- Assist with projects and the corresponding project management software that is used to manage recognition and other Donor Relations initiatives.
- Coordinate multi-stakeholder reviews and approvals for various projects.

- Strong attention to detail
- Great relationship building skills.
- Strong calendar management skills with the ability to effectively manage a busy calendar.
- Experience with preparing budgets, tracking revenue and expenses and conducting reconciliations.
- Excellent communications skills with an ability to draft, proof, and edit a range of written materials.
- Experience with database administration; Raiser’s Edge experience is an asset.
- Professional demeanor with an ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and with discretion.
- Well-developed time management and organization skills with an ability to efficiently manage a diverse range of activities while meeting multiple deadlines.
- Strong team player with an ability to work collaboratively as well as autonomously.

This position is based in our office located in Vancouver, BC. As part of enabling the kind of culture and values that power the possible, we’re committed to creating a flexible workplace experience.
