About the Role

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a temporary full-time Program Clerk to join our dynamic Resource Integrated Supply Chain Collections Operations West team in Vancouver.

The Supply Chain and Donor Relations Team is responsible for ensuring the safe collection of blood and blood products to support the organization's mission of saving lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update controlled document binders and training records
  • Set up and maintain staff training schedules and prepare information packages for promotions
  • Provide clerical support to department trainers and assist with New Employee Orientation
  • Prepare and distribute training materials and verify donor donation history using eProgesa
Requirements
  • Grade 12 and two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Ability to type at 45 w.p.m and advanced Excel skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
