**Position Overview**:
The Team Leader, Trust & Settlements, Recordkeeping, delegates, schedules and guides the day-to-day workflow of a team of Trust & Settlements Senior Administrators/Administrators who administer transactions for Institutional and Private clients to provide leadership, performance management and support in conjunction with the Supervisor and Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delegates and schedules the daily work tasks of a team to Sr. Trust Administrators/Administrators, monitoring daily workflow and shifting resources/task priorities as needed ensuring appropriate resources are allocated to ensure deadlines are met and client instructions are carried out
- Monitors team staff’s individual day to day performance, providing feedback to Supervisor and Manager, in supporting and contributing to the development of individual and team performance objectives
- Collaborates with the team members in dealing with problem resolution and delegation/escalation of requests and issues associated with posting money movement, reconciliation and other fund-related issues that arise, acting as primary technical source
- Answers enquiries and supplies relevant information in response to requests from internal CIBC Mellon Departments and external clients/client representatives regarding trust and settlements account activity as well as maintain all up to date source documentation and related information for access and reference
- Collaborates regularly with supervisor and group management to identify team productivity and procedural improvements
- Assist Supervisor and Manager on implementing new procedures
- Escalate client issues where necessary - communicate clearly, concisely and thoroughly
- Meet SLA requirements for service and productivity.

**Qualifications**:

- College or University degree with focus on finance
- Approximately 3 years progressive experience
- Canadian Securities Course an asset
- Communication; time management skills
- Leadership ability
- Ability to make quick decisions with confidence in a fast paced environment
- Trust account experience an asset
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
