My Calgary Mechanic is a fast-growing automotive service center, known for its customer-first approach and high-quality vehicle repairs. **Position Overview**:
As an **Automotive Service Advisor**, you will be the main point of contact between our customers and our service team. You will provide expert advice on vehicle care, recommend repairs and services, and ensure our customers have a smooth and stress-free experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and assess their vehicle needs
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs, and offer repair recommendations
- Prepare and present accurate estimates for parts and labour
- Coordinate with technicians to schedule vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Ensure all repair work is completed to customer satisfaction, communicating updates regularly
- Create service orders, maintain customer records, and process payments
- Upsell additional services or repairs where appropriate based on the vehicle’s condition
- Respond to customer questions or concerns in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage service department schedules to optimize workflow and minimize wait times
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and retention

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor in a dealership or independent shop
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repair processes, and terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to provide clear, concise information on complex vehicle repairs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience working with service scheduling and invoicing software
- A positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with poise
