Job Description:
: The Product Manager will be accountable for elaborating and orchestrating the strategy as well as planning and developing new product offerings for product catalog for acquisition (and its integration) and building a Cogeco voice product vision for new product portfolio. Will be responsible to develop the 3 year portfolio roadmap for Cogeco in accordance with the corporate objectives and priorities. Reporting to the Lead Voice portfolio Product Manager, the Product Manager will oversee and be involved end to end in all activities that pertain to the planning of new acquisition, voice product launches/evolutions including technical requirements, release prioritization for Go-to-Market (GTM), product positioning and product differentiation. Responsible for evaluating cost and benefits, defining product requirements and preparing all business cases. Ensuring competitiveness within the markets and proposing product recommendations to maintain superiority claims.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Roadmaps accountabilities for the current year and recommends 3 year roadmap vision for its product portfolio.
- Establishing and orchestrating product vision and strategy
- Lead the execution of the products roadmap and strategy through strong partnership with key stakeholders (eg. Engineering, Finance, Operations, Regional Sales and Marketing)
- Building business cases to highlight opportunities, risks and potential gains.
- Alignment with internal stakeholders, including the regions, and external partners on New Product Introduction (NPI) and/or enhancements
- Responsible for end-to-end product portfolio & product lifecycle management and customer journey
- Define product positioning, packaging, pricing and high-level branding objectives
- Define user personas, identify needs and areas of product improvement in order to adjust roadmaps & strategies accordingly
- Conducting competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and realign pricing strategy
- Adapting strategy based on customer needs, market competitiveness and feedback
- Establish high-level launch strategy for NPI, product evolution and new deployment areas.
- Establishing KPIs and targeted take-rates, follow KPI’s Performance and Priorities to align to the Revenue and EBITDA Targets
- Aligning product roadmap with Go-to-Market and base management team on in year progress and product mix
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) and voice of the customer. Deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas that grow market share, and improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Product content, product datasheet and legal notes primeship
- Translate product strategy and benefits into detailed requirements/user stories and prototypes
- Establishing requirements and prioritization based on market demands, customer needs, and constraints
- Other responsibilities
- Communicates and supports Cogeco’s mission and values through role model behavior. Represents Cogeco management principles when handling complaints/concerns to ensure customer’s positive experience is maximized.

- Promotes supports and enforces Cogeco’s Health & Safety policies and procedures

- To support Cogeco’s ultimate goal of providing excellent service to current and potential customers, the incumbent must be constantly attentive and responsive to both external and internal customers’ needs and assist in the resolution of any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner while ensuring that the solution meets the customer’s needs.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

ACADEMIC TRAINING- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Business or commerce.-
- A Master’s of Business Administration is an asset- WORK EXPERIENCE- Experience in the telecom, high-tech, software or related industries preferred-
