Job Description:
: Product Planning Manager will be responsible for demand forecasting and budgeting for all consumer & business CPE. Product Planning Manager will actively engage in and co-lead the collaborative forecasting and planning process with the stakeholders. Reporting to Manager Products CPE, responsible for ensuring accuracy of forecast, budget, compliance on business rules and inventory levels and will work closely with product, supply chain and operational teams. Product Planning Manager will also support scenario building, business cases and dashboard reporting to the management.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish product level demand forecast and associated CAPEX/OPEX budget views
- Prepare/review forecasts for triage, budget, monthly/quarterly reporting and variance analysis on inventory consumption trends
- Partner with key stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Supply Chain/Procurement) to gain regular inputs for drivers for CPE forecasts
- Build a deep understanding of CPE business rules with the product owners and their impact to CPE demand forecast
- Collaborate and support product owners to keep track of product life-cycle changes and impact to demand forecasting and ensure inventory availability with supply chain teams
- Work closely with procurement team and vendors on supply planning to provide regular updates and identify risks for mitigation action
- Complete ad-hoc and other investigations, scenario building, business case analysis and reporting as required

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

ACADEMIC TRAINING- University Degree in Business, Computer Science/Engineering-
- Professional designations CPIM, CSCP, SCMP or CPA/CFA are an asset- WORK EXPERIENCE- 8+ yrs of overall experience with 5+ years relevant experience in Product Demand Forecasting, Budgeting, ideally in the telecommunications or technology industry-
- Project Management & Supply Chain experience is an assetSPECIFIC COMPETENCIES- Solid knowledge of all aspects of financials, supply chain planning for telecom products and related business processes.-
- Understanding of the telecom ecosystem with product lifecycle management-
- A strong bias for action and proven ability to work through ambiguity-
- Open minded and willing to consider and evaluate alternatives and work in a team environment.-
- Ability to establish good working relationships with others.-
- Demonstrated strong sense of ownership and initiative.-
- Comfortable with regular senior Business level interactions with Directors and Lead Managers-
- Bilingual: French and English- You’ll benefit from:
