The Edmonton EXPO Centre is looking for **Chef de Partie (Cold Kitchen)** to join the team Under the direction of the Sous Chef, the Chef de Partie is responsible for the preparation and cooking of cold foods. The Chef de Partie monitors the feel, taste, smell, color, texture and garnishments of food stuffs and informs subordinates of necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards and presentation.

- Ensure consistency in the preparation of all food items according to recipes and standards.
- Managing food quality and production by keeping detailed records and minimizing waste.
- Ensuring that the mise en place is ready for the next day according to expectations and demands.
- Providing support for culinary production and banquet setup, including hands-on involvement in action stations.
- Upholding impeccable cleanliness standards in accordance with AHS guidelines, with a focus on maintaining a well-organized and hygienic workstation.
- Thoroughly completing daily opening and closing checklists, temperature logs, and equipment cleaning responsibilities.
- Strict adherence to the EXPO Centre Health and Safety Standards, ensuring a secure and healthy work environment for all.
- Post-secondary education, with a preference for a degree in culinary or hospitality management
- Food Safety Certificate.
- Red Seal Certificate is required.
- 6-7 years experience in a high-volume kitchen or banquet operation.
- Excellent understanding of food service and sanitation standards.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, including the capacity to stand for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 24 kilograms.
