The
**Program Advisor** will be responsible for providing one-to-one consultations to prospective students who have shown interest in studying with one of the Global University System’s institutions. The role holder will be tasked with providing a bespoke and consultative service to each student, assessing each student’s requirements, and making recommendations in line with their individual needs - all the while promoting GUS institutions as a study destination of choice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and understand student needs via one-to-one consultation.
- Provide a bespoke and consultative service to all students, assessing requirements and making recommendations in line with individual needs.
- Work with prospective students, applicants, and their families to provide high-quality advising on university/school admission requirements, academic programs, and school life.
- Maintain a conversion rate on all types of inquiries from lead to an interview, interview to enrollment and enrollment to start.
- Accountable for business growth through following up on leads and delivering information to prospective students in a timely manner.
- Provide effective and professional written and oral communication with all prospective students.
- Meet and exceed annual, monthly, and quarterly starts, referrals, targets, and objectives as per tenure expectations.
- Responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating the recruitment and sales strategy to meet ambitious targets within the agreed budget and time frames.
- Develop and implement an effective, targeted schedule of recruitment and sales activity to raise awareness and interest in undergraduate study and increase student numbers.
- Manage a database of inquiries and leads, recording all conversion activity, contact details, audience profiles, contact history, and decisions and outcomes.

**Position Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Student Advising.
- Proven target-driven marketing and sales skills are an asset.
- Experience with a target, quota, and KPI environment.
- Proven success in your sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process.
- Strong understanding of the North American education system.
- Experience recruiting domestic students is desired.
