Toronto, Canada The Elusive Fox Inc. Full time

We are releasing the hounds in search of a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our client’s dynamic litigation team. If you have a strong background in legal administrative support, particularly in the realm of employment and labour law, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we are looking for you.

**What you will be doing**:

- Provide administrative support to lawyers, including drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Organize and maintain case files and documents, both electronically and in hard copy.
- Coordinate communication between lawyers, clients, and court personnel.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
- Prepare materials for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Assist with docketing and invoicing processes.

**What we need you to bring to the position**:

- Minimum of two (2) years experience gained as a legal assistant in a similar role.
- Completion of a post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with litigation procedures and terminology a must.
