Communicative Disorders Assistant

Speech Link is a growing private practice company serving different regions across the GTA. We provide SPEECH AND LANGUAGE assessments and therapy to both children and adults. We are looking to hire people holding a Communicative Disorders Assistant certification or Overseas Speech-Language Pathologist experience for a contract position on a part-time or a full-time basis.
Job responsibilities include:
- Provide community services to clients in their homes/schools or daycares and in clinic (Markham location)
- Conduct direct therapy and work under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Monitor clients’ progress
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices
- Builds rapport with families and provides ongoing feedback, education, and home programming
- Maintains complete records
Job Requirements:
- CDA certification or SLPA experience
- Professional Liability insurance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Access to a car, with a valid Ontario driver’s license
