**Job Title**:Associate Producer, CTV Montreal, Bell Media
**Job Status**:Regular-Ful time
**Salary**:Cooleective Agreement Unifor 614M, Grade 12
**Work Conditions**: 40 hours per week (including evenings and weekends). Overtime as required

**Responsibilities**:

- Propose stories
- Research, write and edit content for broadcast and digital platforms
- Write comprehensive editorial background briefs
- Conduct interviews
- May be required to line up news programs
- May be required to perform on-air or go into the field
- Adhere to editorial guidelines and policies on accuracy and ethics
- Other duties as assigned

**Critical Qualifications**:

- Story generating experience
- Proven writing skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain creativity in a high pressure, deadline oriented environment
- Sound editorial judgement
- Excellent knowledge of local news and current affairs
- Team player, strong communication skills; highly organized and self-motivated
- Show Producing (lineup) experience would be an asset
- BA in Journalism or equivalent, minimum 5 years working in a major market newsroom
- Bilingualism is required (English and French): Interactions with English speaking customers or people outside of Quebec
