**Job Title**: Video Journalist, Bell Media, Unifor 614M
**Location**: Montreal, QC
**Status**:Temporary - Full time
**Salary**: Commensurate with education and experience
**Hours of Work**:40 hours per week; overtime, evenings and weekends as required

**Responsibilities**:

- Originate, research, write, interview, shoot, edit and produce original news stories and elements for broadcast and digital platforms
- Set up and operate live equipment as required
- Adhere to editorial standards and guidelines regarding accuracy, ethics and legal issues
- Assure equipment and mobile are in good working order
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in broadcast journalism
- Proven background in news reporting and abilities to perform on camera
- Strong writing, storytelling and knowledge of local news and current affairs
- Excellent writing and strong presentation skills
- Knowledge of social networks and audience engagement, an asset
- Proven abilities in camera and editing
- Proven organizational skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Sound editorial judgment, proven ability to produce original and enterprise reporting
- Ability to deal with new and emerging technology
- Journalism degree, Video Journalist experience, computer literacy and knowledge of iNews, an asset
- Valid driver’s license and good record
- Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
