NDE Lab Coordinator
General Summary
The Lab Coordinator is responsible for the workflow of components that are received for inspection in the NDE Lab. This position requires coordination and communication with management and lab technicians to ensure timely work completion as well as review and assembly of final documentation. The Lab Coordinator will supervise NDE activities and review reports for accuracy and completeness in conjunction with company procedures and client specifications.

Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate NDE lab work from start to finish
- Direct NDE lab personnel
- Perform NDE inspections as required
- Quality Control
- Review of reports for accuracy
- Assembly and delivery of all job-related documentation
- Work closely with Quality and Technical individuals within the organization
- Receive and distribute all forms of electronic and paper correspondence
- Organize, maintain, and coordinate office records and files in their proper locations
- Review film and create reports
- Prepare forms, letters, reports, spreadsheets, and memos as necessary
- Present a positive and professional image to all clients, visitors, suppliers and colleagues
- Other duties as required
Job Qualifications
- CGSB RT 2 (Casting Inspection and other CGSB certifications will be an asset)
- 1-3 years of direct work experience in a Coordinator capacity.
- Familiarity with nuclear QC process an asset
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and the executive team
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Meticulous records maintenance and data entry skills.
- Strong knowledge of general office procedures.
- Solid computer skills.
- General mathematical skills.
- Able to maintain filing systems and basic databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Self-starter and self-learning skills.

Working Conditions
- Office / shop work environment
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Able to occasionally lift items as heavy as 25 lbs.
