**LABORATORY TECHNICIAN I**

**(Full-Time)**

We have tremendous growth potential, and we are looking for the right person to help our dedicated team take the company to the next level.**The Role**
- As a Laboratory Technician, you will perform a variety of lab tasks to help prepare clients samples for analysis, working with a growing team of technicians to balance priorities and ensure the highest quality of results for our clients and researchers.**Key Responsibilities**
- Follow standard operating procedures for sample preparation for routine LC-MS/MS analysis.
- Working closely with LC-MS team, support the operation and maintenance of advanced state-of-the-art nanoflow liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (LC-MS) instrumentation.
- Assist scientists in method development and process optimization.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with other R&D members in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
- Maintain good laboratory records.
- Other duties may be assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Post-Secondary program completion (degree or diploma) in a related field: analytical chemistry, biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology.
- Familiarity with computer data systems.
- Willingness to perform routine tasks while focusing on reproducibility and accuracy.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of common lab equipment (pipette, pH meter, centrifuge, balance etc.) as well as common lab techniques.
- Ability to work as a team and to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
