**Department Overview**

Canadian Credit Cards is one of the largest dual issuers of Visa and MasterCard products in Canada. TD Consumer and Business credit cards are distributed nationally, leveraging our retail distribution network, direct response channels and key co-brand partnerships. TD is also a leader in direct to consumer affinity marketing by way of MBNA's partnerships with retailers, non-profit organization, sports teams, and other third-party organizations, including private label financing.

MBNA is a mono-line, credit-only line of business, which serves as a digital flanker brand to TD Cards portfolio and caters to the mid-market customer segment.
Since early 2018, MBNA has been on a multi-year, multi-stakeholder transformation effort. The team has full end-to-end accountability for the business transformation strategy and financial results including:

- Establishing processes and products to win in the market, championing the development and implementation of programs, initiatives, capabilities, products and services to deliver the strategy while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Owning capability delivery to drive profitable growth and increase market share
- Developing and executing on initiatives and programs to support and engage the customer throughout the lifecycle

The general accountabilities of this role include end-to-end POD strategy within the Shopping and Buying MBNA customer journey, including the following:

- Define and executing against a clearly defined product vision and strategy.
- Own and deliver high-priority features ("minimum viable products") to support MBNA's OKRs
- Lead and develop a pod of cross-functional colleagues, and act as the single point of escalation for decision-making and clearing blockers.
- Outline and prioritize a product delivery roadmap, socialize it with senior leaders, and maintain an active product backlog.
- Operate using the principles of scaled agile (Next Evolution of Work) - including participating in Kanban events (e.g., scrums, stand-ups, retrospectives), designing user stories, and engaging in program increment planning.
- Innovate actively, introducing new ideas and solutions to address business problems and advance the pod's mandate.
- Proactively manage a large group of business, enterprise, and external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and preparedness for upcoming changes.
- Provide thought leadership and industry knowledge, while keeping abreast of changing market dynamics.

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience in a large organization
- University degree in business management or related discipline; MBA an asset
- Resourceful, self-motivated leader with strong aspirations to progress within the organization
- Strategic thinker with proven ability to autonomously lead initiatives and deliver best-in-class customer centric solutions
- Expert communication skills and storytelling capabilities
- Strong critical-thinking and analytical capability, and a tenacious innovative mindset
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Superior proficiency and expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Effective business partner and collaborator, who actively engages others in planning and execution
- Ability to work efficiently in matrix managed structure and with finance and technology partners
- Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework and with applicable tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Canadian Credit Cards business, MBNA customer, market and overall strategies is considered an asset
