**Summary**:
This position performs Real Estate Accounting duties, including Journals and Reconciliations. The coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate recording of specific occupancy related expenses.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review Periodic Occupancy transactions to identify new or unusual amounts.
- Reclass Monthly Occupancy Payments to the appropriate Accounts.
- Calculate and record occupancy accruals
- Review accrual accounts for accuracy and adjust as necessary.
- Process water Invoices for payment. Forward payments with appropriate backups to utility company
- Communicate with utility companies as necessary to resolve payment issues.
- Prepare Weekly Wires to fund payment of Utility Invoices.
- Journalize Utility Payments and Accruals from service provider.
- Complete assigned Periodic Account Reconciliations and Journals.
- Other Journals and activities as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- College Diploma or (minimum 2 years study) related in Accounting or Finance.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in an accounting environment.
- Intermediate MS Office Skills (Word, Outlook, Excel); working knowledge of formulas.
- Intermediate knowledge of SAP Financials is an asset.
- General understanding of accounting terms & concepts as they relate to prepaids, accruals and provisions.
- Ability to provide accurate and quality work at all times.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to unexpected circumstances and peak periods.
- Ability to plan and achieve daily and weekly activities and identify and prioritize urgent and critical tasks.
- Understand the confidential nature of the information being processed.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
