**Description**

This position reports to the Principle Investigator.

Recurring Part-time employees are hourly employees engaged to perform work on an irregular schedule.

**Summary of Key Responsibilities** (job functions include but are not limited to):

- Completion of Conjoint Health Research Ethics Board submissions
- Obtaining informed consent, recruiting patients, and ensuring appropriate and timely follow-up for research studies
- Confidential research data management
- Collaborate with the study investigators and team to perform and complete relevant parts of the study, such as obtaining signatures, discussing questions that come up etc.
- Liaise with all research team members, sponsors, collaborators and partnering organizations
- Perform administrative duties related to the coordination of financial reconciliation, vendor agreements and supporting contract execution

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience as a research coordinator at the University of Calgary (Minimum 1 year experience)
- Knowledge of University policies including submission of projects to ethics boards, finance management and contract oversight
- Familiarity with IRISS and RMS
- Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects
- Fluent in English; excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy MS Windows, Word, Excel, MS Outlook and MS Access
- Strong leadership skills
