Due to the company’s growth, we are adding a Client Relations Associate to enhance client engagement and satisfaction in our Commercial Design/Build environment. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative team with a focus on ensuring client satisfaction while living Aura’s values of Care, Humility, Creativity, Passion and Fun

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Expert sales abilities with a proven track record;
- Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills with a keen sense of urgency;
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders;
- Familiarity with construction contract terms and conditions, construction insurance requirements and the design/build methodology;
- Basic knowledge of budgeting and estimating practices;
- Solid knowledge of the triple constraint of scope, schedule and budget on projects
- Ability to adapt and respond to different types of personalities;
- Ability to work both independently and within a team;
- Strong customer service skills;
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English;
- Ability to design and implement procedures and plans to achieve targets; and
- Ability to lead meetings at a strategic and tactical level.

Experience
- Demonstrable track record of revenue growth, preferably in one where the solution/product has a value >$100,000 with a prolonged sales cycle (our negotiation/sales cycle can take over 3 months);
- Experience maintaining, modifying and using systems to track and report sales performance: and
- Experience in the commercial Tenant Improvement industry.

Credentials
- Post-Secondary degree, ideally in a relevant field (Design, Sales/Marketing, Business, Construction); and
- Additional Sales training an asset.

**About the Role**

The Client Relations Associate is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the proposal and negotiation process to secure business from existing and prospective clients. The Client Relations Associate is responsible for proactive communications between the client and Aura’s design and delivery teams to ensure there are no surprises for the client. They should intimately understand the prospective client’s needs, providing advice and solutions as required. They are also responsible for supporting the development of the project through the initial stages of design development and pre-construction to ensure the client receives timely and complete information to make project related decisions and ultimately choose Aura as their design and construction partner.

- Collaborate with the Business Development team and attend prospective client meetings in support of the process from leads to closed sales;
- Work closely with prospective new clients to determine their needs and put forward suitable proposals in order to maintain and grow revenue for the organization;
- Work with the VP of Workplace Strategy. the design team and the Director of Pre-Construction to develop a customized sales strategy and present persuasive solutions to clients;
- Provide clients with design feasibility, project timelines, and recommendations for successful outcomes;
- Understand client’s key objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes, with a solid understanding of cost schedules enabling the ability to respond to queries about pricing;
- Negotiate with clients and/or manage the RFP process on prospective projects to close sales;
