Business Analyst, Fall 2023 Co-op

**What is the opportunity?**

Are you interested in the opportunity to work as a Business Analyst Co-op?

**What will you do?**
- Contribute to opportunities for process improvement.
- Work within the Agile methodology to translate requirements into functional specifications.
- Assist in the requirements gathering, development and maintenance of Tableau reports.
- Assist in the documentation of end-to-end project and technical requirements.
- Assist with projects and initiatives relating to Operational Risk management priorities, governance, and change management plans - including status reviews and reporting.
- Support the development of monthly and quarterly executive risk reports.
- Work with Supplier Delivery team to support invoice tracking and reporting.

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on business, computer science, engineering, or technology.
- Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written).
- Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong MS Office skills - Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of Design Thinking and Lean Startup frameworks.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative methods.
- Self-motivated, able to manage time and work with mínimal supervision.

**Nice-to-have**
- Analytical thinker along with appropriate attention to detail.
- Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau).
- General understanding of programming languages, databases, platforms, frameworks, design techniques and tools, code management tooling, and/or web technologies.
