We act like internal consultants and our collective goal is to ensure that our business is always tapped into the customer, and that business strategies are being built with customer needs in mind. We’re part of the greater Home Depot Canada Marketing & EComm team where everyone works hard, but also has a lot of fun along the way

**Job Summary**
The Analyst of Customer Insights will contribute to delivering fact-based customer insights that facilitate accurate, strategic, and tactical decisions across The Home Depot Canada. You will work as a part of the insights team to help the business understand key challenges and opportunities, and have the capability to analyze data, reveal trends and patterns, and translate these into insights that create an in-depth understanding of our customer’s needs, preferences, and expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reading tables, and extracting, synthesizing and displaying data in report templates
- Assisting in the development of proposals, questionnaires and reports
- Performing secondary research to support primary research-based implications
- Working with a variety of different research methodologies including tracking, usage and attitudes, path to purchase, post purchase experience and others
- Communicate with external vendor partners to deliver best-in-class primary research
- Communicate a strong and accurate understanding of the customer and the marketplace
- Participate in cross functional meetings and discussions

**What You Bring to the Role**:

- Currently pursuing a university and/or college education in Business and/or a related field of study will be considered a preferred qualification.
- Be enrolled in a research analyst program
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to generate insights and derive strategic implications
- Effectively communicate complex data and insights for different audiences, in both written and oral format
- Ability to juggle multiple projects effectively
- Entrepreneurial, curious and resourceful
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint is a must
